Artist in Residence UNESCO Centre for Water Law,Policy and Science at the University of Dundee

I am a printmaker and papermaker interested in water systems, and the effects on the environment of our changing climate.My current work is a series of abstracted Screen Prints and mixed media works on paper. The images are designed to highlight the reduction and loss of the essential and delicate eco systems in our water courses, which are now being overwhelmed by plastics. My designs are derived from a combination of microscopic images of diatoms and microfibres.

(Diatoms are single celled organisms that provide indicators of water quality, as well as contributing to carbon capture in the environment)
